Radiology & Imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham

Our radiology and imaging specialists use medical imaging (also called diagnostic imaging) to see what’s going on inside your body. We use the most advanced technologies to help us diagnose your condition and design the best treatment plan for you.

Your Visit

Through the direct link between our department and BIDMC, we can instantly send your diagnostic images to other medical specialists who are part of your care team. As a result, you’ll receive the therapies you need as quickly as possible.

Your images will be added to your electronic medical record after our imaging specialist has reviewed them. If you would like a copy of one of your images, please contact our image archive staff at 781-453-3054. You’ll need to sign a release before receiving your images on a CD.

Our highly specialized BreastCare Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This ensures our breast imaging experts deliver the most accurate, up-to-date services. We designed our center around your comfort to give you a convenient, calm breast screening or mammography experience.
