The Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at BID Needham specializes in treating all types of chronic wounds. Here, you’ll receive the most up-to-date treatments for wound healing. These include advanced dressings, sophisticated skin grafts and hyperbaric wound care. The treatments are based on the latest scientific advances and delivered in an outpatient setting by caring wound physicians, nurses and other specialists.
At our wound care center, we focus on improving your symptoms. But we also address the underlying cause of your wound. You can rely on us to help you feel better and to guide you in preventing future skin wounds.
What Is a Chronic Wound?
A chronic wound is one that doesn’t heal within the expected timeframe. Our services may be helpful if you have a wound that has not begun to heal within two weeks or has not completely healed within six weeks.

Many things can cause or contribute to nonhealing wounds. We’re trained to help with a variety of conditions, including:
