New Outpatient Clinical Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham Expands Access To the Increasing Need for Outpatient Care

Needham, MA — Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham (BID–Needham) celebrated the opening of its brand new, 37,000-square-foot Outpatient Clinical Center, which advances the hospital’s commitment to expanding community access to extraordinary clinical expertise in the areas of cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, neurology, medical-surgical specialties and more.

The new center’s design supports state-of-the-art care in a contemporary and patient-centered work space for physicians and staff. The new space accommodates the rising demand for quality outpatient care in the community and meets increasing needs for inpatient care west of Boston.

“Members of our community know they can count on BID–Needham for excellent care close to home—outpatient services have grown nearly 30% in the past six years,” said John Fogarty, president of BID–Needham. “As we celebrate the opening and welcome our first patients, it is gratifying to be part of this outstanding team and the supporters who have made this center possible.”
